Andrei will be giving masterclasses at the Swiss Summer Music Academy in Bern / Muri from August 4th to August 11th.
He will also perform at the Meisterkonzert with the other lecturers at the academy on August 10th, at 17:00.
Andrei is Assistant to Jens Peter Maintz at the Berlin University of the Arts, winner of the International Cello Competition ‘Piotr Tschaikovski’ in Moscow and the International ARD Cello Competition in Munich.

On 8 and 9 March 2025, the Spielende Insel will present three solo concerts at the Kühlhaus Berlin, played by the outstanding soloists Veriko Tchumburidze, Andrei Ioniță and Catalin Serban. Three impressive solo programmes focusing on Bach and 20th-century music will be presented.

Bechstein Hall’s weekday performances last for one hour with no interval and are offered at 18.30 and 20.00 each evening.
